The Galt Sportsmens Club welcomes new members several times per year.

To inquire about joining our club, please either contact us or visit the club during the following times:

• Wednesday nights: 7:00pm-9:00pm
• Sunday afternoons: 12:00noon-2:00pm

Please bring your valid Canadian Possession & Acquisition License (PAL) with you.

Membership Notices

Membership to the Rifle Section is currently closed. No new members for the Rifle Section are being accepted at this time. Please check back at a later date.

All other sections are currently accepting new members.

About the PAL

The Galt Sportsmens Club promotes safe, responsible shooting which meets or exceeds federal regulations. To get your PAL requires completing the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) or passing a written challenge exam. For more information see the RCMP Canadian firearms program website. (The website www.gunexams.com also has sample exams.) CFSC courses are offered by area organizations several times per year. For some firearms that are classified as "restricted", you may also need to complete the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) as well.
